The conclusion of the IPA CIS international observers group on special elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was published

Following the results of monitoring of the special presidential elections of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which took place on 9 June 2019, the conclusion was prepared.  

The group included MPs and representatives of the highest legislative authorities of the seven  CIS Members  (Azerbaijan Republic, Republic Armenia, Republic of Belarus, the Kyrghyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, Republic of Uzbekistan) and the Secretariat of the IPA CIS Council. The coordinator of the group was appointed Vice-Speaker of the FCFA Ilyas Umakhanov.  

On the voting day, international observers from the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly monitored polling stations in Nur Sultan, as well as in Akmola, Zhambyl and Karaganda regions in accordance with individual routes. In addition, observers from the CIS IPA participated in the monitoring of the voting process at six polling stations established at the diplomatic and consular missions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Baku (Azerbaijan Republic), Yerevan (Republic of Armenia), Minsk (Republic of Belarus), Bishkek (Kyrghyz Republic), Moscow and St. Petersburg (Russian Federation).
