The conclusions of the observers from the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly on the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation were published

Observers from the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly monitored the elections at the polling stations in eight regions of Russia: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Astrakhan, Kurgan, Leningrad, Magadan, Novosibirsk and Omsk regions. Monitoring was also conducted at foreign stations located in Baku, Yerevan, Minsk, Bishkek, Dushanbe and Chisinau.

The group consisted of international observers, representing seven states - participants of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly (Azerbaijan Republic, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrghyz Republic, Republic of Moldova, Republic of Tajikistan), as well as staff of the Secretariat of the Council of CIS IPA and experts of IIMDD IPA CIS. Almazbek Baatyrbekov – the Chairman of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrghyz Republic for Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security - was appointed as a Coordinator of the group.

The conclusion of the observers of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States on the elections to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation held on 18 September , 2016 is published on the official website.
