The Presidential Election in Belarus is over

IPA CIS international observers have discussed the elections and shared their opinions.

In general, according to the IPA CIS international observers, the election was transparent, and the atmosphere was rather benevolent and festive.

The final report will be provided at the press conference of the Mission on 12 October.

The team was composed of 40 international observers from 7 member states of the IPA CIS (the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, and the Republic of Tajikistan). Among them there are deputies and representatives of the supreme legislative bodies, Secretary General of the IPA CIS Alexey Sergeev, experts from the International Institute for Monitoring Democratic and Parliamentary Process and the members of the Secretariat of the IPA CIS Council.
