Tursunbay Bakir contributed to the conference on electoral processes in the CIS

Member of the Jogorku Kenesh Committee on Foreign Affairs Tursunbay Bakir made a presentation on the state of the election system in Kirgizstan as realized in parliamentary and presidential elections during 2000-2011. One obvious result of the first ever competitive elections in Kirgizstan was the advent of political competition.

Accountable elections translate into public trust and ensuing stability and integrity. Accountable elections mean integrity in the government.
