Agriculture, natural resources and the environment discussed in the Tavricheskiy Palace

The IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Agriculture, Natural Resources and the Environment held its session in the Tavricheskiy Palace.

The participants of the session discussed draft model laws on environmental education and culture, on responsible treatment of animals, the new version of the Model Forest Code of the CIS Member Nations, draft recommendations on satellite monitoring of farmlands in the CIS based on a common system, and the concept of the new model law on identification of animals and animal derived materials.

The participants also discussed ideas for the next VIII Nevsky International Ecological Congress that will take place next year.

On May 20, the members of the Commission will attend the 44^th Plenary Session of the IPA CIS.
