Meeting of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on State-Building Practices and Communal Government in the Tavricheskiy Palace

The IPA CIS Permanent Commission on State-Building Practices and Communal Government held its regular meeting in the Tavrichesky Palace.

The Commission approved the recommendations on legal framework and inter-municipal cooperation and facilitated improvement of the model law on the engagement of local authorities in cross-border cooperation.

At its session the Commission considered several model laws, focused on the draft Convention on Regional Cooperation of the CIS member states and discussed new amendments to the Long-Term Plan of Model Law-Making of the CIS for 2016-2020.
