First meeting of the Expert Council on Healthcare held in the Tavricheskiy

The Expert Council will have meetings twice a year. Addressing diabetes incidence is one of the principal themes of the first meeting. Chief endocrinologist of St. Petersburg Yuriy Khalimov will make a report in this field. The participants will also discuss the issues of HIV/AIDS, medical treatment of children, medical education in the CIS, and harmonizing public healthcare laws.
