IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Agriculture, Natural Resources and the Environment held its session in the Tavricheskiy Palace

The meeting was attended by Vanik Asatryan, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on State and Legal Affairs and Protection of Human Rights, Ansar Musakhanov, Member of the Committee of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Agriculture, Natural Resources and Development of Rural Areas, Mirlan Bakirov, Member of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrghyz Republic on Argiculture, Water Resources, Environment and Regional Development, Radu Mudryak, Chairman of the Committee of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova on Ecology and Territorial Development, Yuri Afonin, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Natural Resources, Property and Land Relations, Rustam Latifzoda, Chairman of the Committee of the Majlisi namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan on Agriculture, Water and Land Resources.

Members of the session discussed draft model laws on Assessment of Environmental Damage and on Ecotourism as well as the Recommendations on the Organization of National Centers of Environmental Safety and the Recommendations on Environmental Policy-Making. The participants also discussed the results of the 8^th Nevsky International Ecological Congress.
