Issues of agrarian policy and the environments discussed in the Tavricheskiy Palace

The meeting of the IPA CIS PC on Agrarian Policy, Natural Resources and Ecology brought together member MPs and representatives from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, experts of the Center for ID Systems, Belarus Center of Information Systems in Livestock Production, St. Petersburg Research Institute for Environmental Safety, the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the Russian Peoples' Friendship University.
The meeting, led by Deputy Chair of the PC, Deputy Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and Natural Management Sergey Belousov, considered 10 items and analyzed the progress in the development of 3 model documents.
The Commission decided to submit the model law Environmental Outreach and Ecological Culture and the CIS Model Forestry Code for approval at the ordinary IPA CIS plenary session.
The Commission also heard information on developing agrarian policy legislation in Tajikistan and discussed the preparation to the VIII Nevsky International Ecological Congress.
