Model law-making in the sphere of science and education discussed in the Tavricheskiy Palace

Regular meeting of the PC on Science and Education took place in the Tavricheskiy Palace. The Commission approved the draft revised MLs on Scientific and Technical Information and the Recommendations on Nanotechnology Ethics and recommended to include them in the agenda of the next IPA CIS Plenary Session. At the end of the meeting, the results of the commission activities in 2018 were summed up, proposed additions and amendments to the IPA CIS Long-Term Plan of Model Law-making in 2016-2020 were reviewed.

The event was attended by Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on Regional Issues and Eurasian Integration Armen Pambukhchyan, Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Kogut, Member of the Majilis Committee of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Social and Cultural Development Abdimanap Bekturganov, Member of the Jogorku Kenesh Committee of the Kyrghyz Republic on Social Issues, Education, Science, Culture and Health Evgenia Strokova, Member of the Committee of the Council of the Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Science, Education and Culture Dmitry Vasilenko, IPA CIS Council Secretariat staff members, academia and experts.
