The draft Convention on the Preservation of the CIS Cultural Heritage member states was discussed in the Tavricheskiy Palace

The regular meeting of the working group at the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Culture, Information, Tourism and Sport on the preparation of the draft Convention on the Preservation of the CIS Cultural Heritage was held at the headquarters of the IPA CIS.

The meeting was opened by the member of the working group, Chairman of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Culture, Information, Tourism and Sports, Vice Chair of the Committee for Science, Education and Culture, Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Sergey Rybakov.

Advisor to the director of the Russian Likhachev Research Institute for Cultural and Natural Heritage Sergey Zhitenev told to the participants about the development of the draft Convention. The participants of the working group discussed the text of the document as well as comments and suggestions to it.
