The international conference devoted to the model law for CIS Member Nations “About Public-Private Partnership” will take place in Minsk

The international conference devoted to the law will take place in the Executive Committee of the CIA in Minsk on 26 May.

The model law was prepared by the task group of the IPA CIS with the cooperation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in the as a part of the common project of IPA CIS and EBRD.

Among the co-organizers were Permanent Commission of the IPA CIS on the Economy and Finance, Permanent Commission of the Council of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on the Economy, Budget and Finance, Permanent Commission of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on economic policy, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, UN Development Program in the Republic of Belarus, and the Executive Committee of the CIS.

The conference is expected to be attended by the law drafters, international experts, deputies of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, representatives of ministers and government agencies of Belarus, Moldova, Russia, and Ukraine.

The participants will focus on international harmonization and enacting model laws for public-private partnership.
The presentation of the law in Minsk will be the first one in the row of similar events planned in the CIS for 2015.
