Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council Valentina Matvienko addressed the plenary of the Second St. Petersburg International Labor Forum

In her speech, Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council Valentina Matvienko noted: “We live in a remarkable time when the boundaries between the present and the future blur and the new technological reality virtually affects all spheres of human life including occupational relations and the nature of work”.

Additionally, Valentina Matvienko drew the attention of the guests and participants to the relevance of the problem of gender inequality in the field of labor. She noted that the issue of strengthening the role of women in the economy would be high on the agenda of the Second Eurasian Women’s Forum to be held in autumn in St. Petersburg, the IPA CIS headquarters being one of its venues.
