Chingiz Aitmatov Award of the CIS was given to Grachya Tamrazyan

Armeneian statesman, poet, linguist, a member of the Writers Guild of the USSR, director of Matenadaran Institute of Ancient Manuscripts Grachya Tamrazyan won the award.

The award was given by Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council Valentina Matvienko and Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Assylbek Zheenbekov.

It bears reminding that it was the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic that launched the award.
