IPA CIS representatives took part in the 3rd International Labor Forum

International Labor Forum, the largest discussion platform on the development of labor market, and the formation of human capital is taking place in St. Petersburg at EXPOFORUM Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Assistant to the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Russian Federation President in the North-Westen Federal District Evgeny Karpichev read a welcome message by Vladimir Putin, in which the introduction of innovative technologies, increased labor productivity and competitiveness of personnel were announced as the most important factors in strengthening national economies.
Chair of the Federation Council Committee on the Rules of Procedure and Parliamentary Governance Andrey Kutepov addressed the meeting on behalf of Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko.
Member of the Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs Sergey Vostretsov read out to the participants of the event the address of the IPA CIS Council Member, Speaker of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin.
Deputy Speaker of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan also addressed the meeting.
On behalf of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly the Plenary, the Session was attended by Acting Secretary General – Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat Dmitry Kobitskiy and his deputies, Plenipotentiary Representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Hayk Chilingaryan, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Nuskabaj, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrghyz Republic Nurbek Satvaldiev.
Secretary of the PC on Social Policy and Human Rights Evgenia Vladimirova reported on the panel “Labor migration policy: security and economic growth”, held within the Forum. She presented the IPA CIS model law-making activities in the field of migration, in particular, the Model Migration Code for the CIS Member Nations.
