IV St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum is declared open

Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko attended the plenary session of the IV St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum.

The plenary session was declared open by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

It is already for the 4th time that the International Cultural Forum takes place. The Forum is an international venue for annual meetings, open discussions and sharing experience among representatives of culture, business and politics.

This year the Forum coincides with the 70th anniversary of UNESCO. During the Forum from on 14-16 December 82 venues of St. Petersburg will hold more than 250 events that will be attended by more than 9,000 delegates.
