IPA CIS Council Chairperson to make official visit to Turkmenistan

IPA CIS Council Chairperson, Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko will be on a 2-day official visit to Ashgabat to take part in the events marking the 20th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality. The agenda of the visit includes a meeting with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov and a meeting with Speaker of Mejlis Akja Nurberdyeva to discuss interparliamentary ties and engagement at international forums.
