Organizing Committee of Eurasian Women’s Forum meets in Moscow

The session was hosted in the Federation Council. Galina Karelova, Deputy Speaker, Federation Council, opened the session. Alexey Sergeev, IPA CIS Secretary General, took part in the session. He informed the members of the Committee on the progress in preparing the Congress.

The Forum will take place on 24-25 September. Its key themes will include social sustainability, sustainable economy and international action to build trust and achieve growth.

CIS MPs, public officials responsible for gender equality, women governors, mayors, ambassadors and leaders of international organizations are expected to attend the Forum.
