Valentina Matvienko takes part in the Green Wave

The Green Wave is still marching throughout the Commonwealth.

An IPA CIS-led initiative, it has the purpose of commemorating the war legacy through planting trees as a symbolic gesture to glorify the labor of the fallen.

The recent Green Wave took place in St. Petersburg in Piskarevsky Park. Valentina Matvienko joined MPs for the Legislative Assembly and the IPA CIS staff in planting saplings of spruce and pines.
