Republic of Uzbekistan joins the IPA CIS

In the framework of the IPA CIS autumn session during the meeting of the IPA CIS Council, Nigmatilla Yuldoshev signed the Convention on the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The Republic of Uzbekistan became the tenth IPA CIS Member Nation.
Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko stressed that the Republic of Uzbekistan joined the Interparliamentary Assembly in full format, becoming a full member of the organization.
According to Nigmatilla Yuldashev, the accession of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the IPA CIS Convention is a milestone that unleashes great opportunities for international cooperation within the Commonwealth and enhances the profile of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the international arena.
