Valentina Matvienko: “All citizens must meet their commitments”

Yesterday Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly Valentina Matvienko voted at the elections of Governor and members of the municipal authorities.

Talking to journalists, she said that she always voted at elections and stressed that it was an important commitment of any person. She expressed hope that St. Petersburg, her native town, will see dynamic growth of economy and social well-being, sustain European living standards and reach ambitious goals moving forward.

14 September was the Election Day throughout Russia.
