Valentina Matvienko held a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Almazov Research Center

Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko held a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Federal Almazov North-West Medical Research Centre of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

The Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council also took part in the opening ceremony of the Child Treatment and Rehabilitation Facility.

Child Treatment and Rehabilitation Facility features unique conditions for treatment and inpatient rehabilitation for children of all ages, including newborns with low body weight, children with developmental and somatic pathologies, children after cardiac and neurosurgical treatment, and pregnant women.

The opening ceremony was also attended by the Governor of St. Petersburg Georgiy Poltavchenko, Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg Vyacheslav Makarov, Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Sergei Kraevoy, Director General of the Federal Almazov North-West Medical Research Centre of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Evgeniy Shlyakhto, as well as representatives of the executive and legislative authorities.
