Valentina Matvienko expressed condolences in relation to the terrorist attack in St. Petersburg

Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko expressed condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the terrorist attack in St. Petersburg.

I am deeply shocked by the tragedy in the subway of St. Petersburg. I mourn together with the relatives and friends of the victims. I express my sincere condolences and wishes for a swift recovery to those affected.

I am sure that the Investigative Committee of Russia, special services and law enforcement agencies will do whatever it takes for a comprehensive and objective investigation of the incident”.
