Valentina Matvienko met with the ambassadors of IPA CIS members

Valentine Matvienko supported the idea to review the body of institutional accountabilities of the CIS. There is a strong case to review of the performance of the CIS and its institutions over the 20 years of their existence to identify efficiencies and cut deadwood. 

The meeting also discussed common rules for election observation.

IPA CIS Secretary General said that the meeting was constructive and touched upon a broad range of household issues.
