Vladimir Shumeiko was awarded an IPA CIS anniversary medal

On 27 March 2017, during the anniversary plenary session of the IPA CIS, Vladimir Shumeiko was awarded an IPA CIS a medal on the occasion of the 25^th anniversary of the IPA CIS.

The award was handed over to Vladimir Shumeiko in Moscow today.

Vladimir Shumeiko was the Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council from 1994 to 1996. During his term the IPA CIS started the peacekeeping activity; one of its main results was the signing of the Bishkek Protocol in May 1994 which remains the only agreement ensuring the ceasefire regime in Nagorno-Karabakh.
