CIS Experts Work on Updating Concept of Forming a Common Labor Market

On 3 December 2021, the CIS experts discussed the progress of work on updating the CIS Concept of Phased Formation of a Common Labor Market and Regulation of Labor Migration of 17 March 2017 and the development of the Action Plan for its implementation. The meeting of the Working Group took place in Minsk. Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Social Policy and Human Rights Evgenia Vladimirova took part in the event via videoconferencing on behalf of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat.

The Working Group, which includes representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Uzbekistan, considered the comments and proposals received to the draft Concept from the CIS Member Nations.

During the event, the participants decided to continue updating the document and scheduled the next meeting of the working group for February 2022 in Minsk.
