Day of National Flag of Russia Solemnly Celebrated at Tavricheskiy Palace

Representatives of the IPA CIS, the Civic Chamber of St. Petersburg and the Government of St. Petersburg took part in the event.
In her speech, Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Irina Sokolova noted that the colors of the flag “symbolize goodness, intelligence, honor and love for the Motherland”.
On the occasion of the holiday, an exhibition of artists from St. Petersburg was presented at the Tavricheskiy Palace.
The event ended with a concert of folk art groups and famous Russian performers.
