Exhibition Project to Tell about Fight Against Nazism in Europe during Second World War

Today, the first meeting of the Organizing Committee of the exhibition “People’s Liberation Struggle in Europe Against Nazism in1939 – 1945” was held via videoconferencing.

The project was initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Rossotrudnichestvo, the Government of the Volgograd Region, the Institute of International Social and Humanitarian Relations and the Central Armed Forces Museum of the Russian Federation. The representatives of civil society organizations from France, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Slovenia, Slovakia and Austria have been invited to participate in the work of the Committee.

Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy spoke at the meeting of the Organizing Committee, noted the importance of the project and recalled that the IPA CIS had always paid great attention to the issues of preserving the historical memory of the Great Patriotic War and the heroic struggle of the peoples of the former Soviet Union, which are now the CIS Member Nations, as well as European countries against Nazism.
