IPA CIS Council Secretariat Expresses Condolences in Connection with Events in Republic of Kazakhstan

Today, Deputy Secretary General of the Council of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Igor Musalimov and Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the IPA CIS Council Alexey Dolzhikov visited the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in St. Petersburg in connection with the tragic events taking place in the country.

On behalf of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat, Alexey Dolzhikov expressed hope that the situation in the Republic would be resolved and citizens would return to peace in the nearest future.

Alexey Dolzhikov also made a note in the book of condolences at the Consulate General noting that the IPA CIS Council Secretariat condemned the terrorist acts and illegal actions committed in Kazakhstan and expressed sincere hope for the earliest possible stabilization of the political situation in the country.
