IPA CIS Council Secretariat and RANEPA Develop Cooperation

Today, in the Tavricheskiy Palace – the headquarters of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly the IPA CIS Council Secretariat and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration signed the Cooperation Agreement.

The document provides the basis for the continuation and development of partner relations between the Secretariat and the Academy in carrying out scientific researches, promoting the development of parliamentarism across the CIS, creation of common educational space in the Commonwealth, preparation and implementation of joint international projects and many other activities.

The Parties also signed the Agreement on internships at the IPA CIS Council Secretariat for the RANEPA students.

Secretary General – Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat Dmitriy Kobitskiy noted that the RANEPA was a long-standing partner of the Secretariat. The RANEPA students from Russia and other Commonwealth countries regularly participate in the IPA CIS international events as volunteers. Internships will provide them with considerable practical experience.

Director of the North-West Institute of Management, branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration Vladimir Shamakhov stressed that signing of the Agreement was a logical step of long and multidimensional relations between the Academy and the Secretariat.
