IPA CIS Council Secretariat Expresses Condolences on Passing Away of Musa Erniyazov

On 31 July 2020, a prominent state and public figure of the Republic of Uzbekistan Musa Yerniyazov died at the age of 73.
From 2005 up until now, Musa Erniyazov occupied the position of the Speaker of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan – Deputy Speaker of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Under his leadership, an extensive work on social and economic development of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and improving the living standard of the local population has been carried out.
Serving as the Deputy Speaker of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Musa Erniyazov actively participated in the development and implementation of an important legislation aimed at raising the welfare of the people and the social and economic development of the state.
The IPA CIS Council Secretariat expresses deep condolences to the colleagues of Musa Erniyazov – senators of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as to his nearest and dearest.
