IPA CIS Council Secretariat and St. Petersburg University of State Fire Service Signed Cooperation Agreement

The Secretariat of the IPA CIS Council and the St. Petersburg University of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters named after the Hero of the Russian Federation, Army General E. N. Zinichev signed a cooperation agreement today in the Tavricheskiy Palace – the headquarters of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member Nations.

The document was signed by Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy and Head of the University Bogdan Gavkalyuk.

The agreement provides for the engagement in a variety of ways, including participation in the development of model laws, expert assessment of those laws, holding joint reasearch and practice conferences, symposiums and seminars, implementing common scientific projects, etc.
