Valentina Matvienko Laid Flowers at Bronze Horseman Monument

Today St. Petersburg celebrates the City Day. This year the Northern Capital of Russia turns 321 years old.

Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko laid flowers at the foot of the monument to the founder of the city Peter the Great “The Bronze Horseman”.

The laying was attended by Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy, Russian MPs, representatives of the legislative and executive authorities of St. Petersburg and other officials.
