CIS librarians meet in SPB

In the framework of the 2d SPB International Forum Toward the National Year of Cultural Awareness in Russia CIS librarians came together for their IV convention. They plan to focus attention on libraries as instruments of social policies. IPA CIS is among the participating organizations along with Eurasian Librarianship Assembly. On 12 November 2003, IPA CIS adopted the Librarianship Code in a revised format.
