Commemoration ceremony took place in the Piskarevskoe memorial cemetery

The delegation of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States laid wreaths and flowers at the Mother Nation Monument on the Day of Remembrance and Mourning to honor the memory of the victims of the Great Patriotic War. The delegation included Secretary General – Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat Alexey Sergeev, Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Kogut, Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Irina Sokolova, as well as deputy heads of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat Sergey Kourdin, Valeriy Nujanzin, Dmitriy Gladey, and other staff members of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat.
