Alexey Sergeev met with representatives of the consular corps of Strasbourg

The representatives of the consular corps of Strasbourg led the Consul General of the Russian Federation to Strasbourg Valeriy Levitskiy visited the IPA CIS Council Secretariat headquarters in the Tavrichesky Palace. The delegation included members of the diplomatic missions of Belgium, Luxembourg, Malta, France, Switzerland and other states represented in Strasbourg.

The IPA CIS Secretary General welcomed the guests in the Tavrichesky Palace and spoke on the history and current activities of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, as well as on the upcoming 137^th IPU Assembly which is to take place in St. Petersburg in October.

The representatives of the consular missions of Strasbourg thanked Alexey Sergeev for a warm reception, congratulated the IPA CIS on the 25^th anniversary and expressed the intention to promote cooperation between the IPA CIS and the bodies of the Council of Europe.
