International junior basketball championship kicked off in Bishkek

The IPA CIS Delegation took part in the opening ceremony of the championship. Among others, the delegation included Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Representative of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurbek Satvaldiev and Deputy Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat – Director of the International Institute for Monitoring Democratic Development, Parliamentarism and Suffrage Protection of the Citizens of IPA CIS Member Nations Andrey Baranov.

According to Nurbek Satvaldiev, the sport event has an integration mission among the CIS countries and encourages younger generation to lead a healthy lifestyle and to cherish the memory of the feat in the Great Patriotic War.
