IPA CIS and St. Petersburg diocese of the ROC sign MOU

St. Petersburg ROC Diocese, represented by Varsonophius, Metropolitan Bishop of St. Petersburg and Ladoga, and the IPA CIS, represented by Secretary General Alexey Sergeev, signed a MoU in the Golden Hall of the Diocese Office, with a purpose to promote integration processes throughout the CIS.

Through its recent efforts to adopt the model law Freedom of Worship, Religion and Faith-based Organizations, the IPA CIS and the Russian Orthodox Church have demonstrated a new level of cooperation, said Alexey Sergeev. “No doubt, the new agreement and its effective implementation will strengthen our cooperation as we move forward”.
