IPA CIS Council Secretariat and Saint Petersburg State University of Economics Sign Cooperation Agreement

Secretary General – Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat Dmitriy Kobitskiy and Rector of the St. Petersburg State University of Economics Igor Maksimtsev signed the agreements on cooperation and on internships for students in the Secretariat.
The IPA CIS Council Secretariat and St. Petersburg State University of Economics are share many years of fruitful cooperation. Igor Maksimtsev assisted the IPA CIS in creating the Expert Advisory Board on Economy, which he subsequently headed. Moreover, the IPA CIS and the St. Petersburg State University of Economics co-organize the International Forum “Eurasian Economic Perspective” aimed at the development of parliamentary, economic and social cooperation in the framework of the Eurasian economic integration.
The signed cooperation agreement focuses on the continuation and stepping-up of scientific research on the relevant issues of the IPA CIS model law-making, the preparation and implementation of joint projects, the creation of a common educational space in the CIS, as well as the development and implementation of scientific, educational and cultural programs.
