Joint session of the 50th Council of Heads of CAs of the RCC and the 21st CIS Coordination Council on Informatization at the RCC

Konstantin Pshenko, Chief, Drafting Support Unit for ML on Social and Humanitarian Issues, Secretary of IPA CIS PC on Culture, Information, Tourism and Sport, welcomed the participants on behalf of Alexey Sergeev, IPA CIS Council Secretary General. In his speech, he stressed the important role of ICT in economic integration and paving the way to information society. 

“Harmonization of laws in the field of communications has been high on the agenda of the Commonwealth and the IPA CIS, respectively”. added K. Pshenko.

The participants also focused on preparations to future events, considered leadership appointments and mandates.
