Living Memories Tour in Astana

Early in the morning the flare of the Eternal Flame was put in the container to be delivered to St. Petersburg by air. At the ceremony Deputy Secretary-Generals of the IPA CIS Council Viktor Kogut and Khalel Bakenov represented the Assembly together with parliamentarians, veterans and guests.

The visit included meetings with government leaders of Kazakhstan and various awareness-raising efforts to support the Tour.
