Meeting of the CIS Advisory Board on Economy took place in Moscow

The 81th meeting of the CIS Advisory Board on Economy on various aspects of the CIS economic cooperation took place in Moscow at the World Trade Center.

The IPA CIS and the CIS Executive Committee submitted the draft CIS Strategy on Information Security. The Board approved the draft Strategy.

The meeting participants also discussed the problem of ensuring consumer rights in the field of electronic commerce in the CIS Member Nations and issues, which should simplify customs procedures for shipping goods across customs borders and improving interaction of customs authorities.

The CIS International Economic Forum plenary session on “CIS: Digital Economy – Platform for Integration” took place in the Congress Centre in the margins of the CIS Advisory Board on Economy. The Forum brought together members of the CIS Advisory Board on Economy, the leadership of the CIS Executive Committee and the Eurasian Economic Commission, representatives of legislative and executive authorities, the real sector of the economy, chambers of commerce, industry associations, banking communities, and the media.
