The experts discussed the CIS cooperation in the field of prevention and treatment of diabetes

The CIS Executive Committee held a meeting of the Board of Experts on diabetes issues.

Participants represented the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgрyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.

Executive Secretary of the of the Board of Experts, Secretary of PC on Social Policy and Human Rights Evgenia Vladimirova, and Deputy Chair of the Russian Diabetic Federation, Chairperson of the St. Petersburg Diabetic Society, member of the IPA CIS Advisory Board on Public Health Marina Shipulina took part in the meeting in the video conference format.

Agenda considered the following questions: Implementation of CIS Cooperation Program for Prevention and Treatment of Diabetes in 2019-2020; Implementation of decisions adopted on the 4^th September 2018 at the XXVIII meeting of the CIS Advisory Board on Health; Draft Activities Plan of the IPA CIS Advisory Board on diabetes issues for 2019-2020.; Preparations for the 30^th meeting of the CIS Advisory Board on Cooperation in field of healthcare.
