Youth leaders of the CIS nations convened in Moscow

The capital of the Russian Federation is hosting a 4-day meeting of youth leaders of the CIS.

More than 50 leaders of youth NGOs from the CIS attended the meeting. Among the participants: Coordinator of the Youth Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS, member of the Permanent Commission of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Inessa Kleschuk and Executive Secretary of the Youth Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Margarita Safarova.

The participants will focus on the topical agenda for developing youth policy and sharing best practices in youth policy. Under the umbrella of the meeting the participants will also attend panel discussion and thematic sessions.

The meeting is organized by the Youth Council of Russia with the support of the Executive Committee of the CIS, CIS Advisory Board on Youth Affairs, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the Federal Agency on Youth Affairs.
