Dmitriy Kobitskiy: In 2022, International Tourism Forum TRAVEL HUB “Commonwealth” to Be Held in Full-Scale Format

Today, the roundtable “Tourism, Culture and Digitalization” was held in the Tavricheskiy Palace under the auspices of the International Tourism Forum TRAVEL HUB “Commonwealth”.

Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He noted the relevance of the topic of the roundtable and expressed hope that in March 2022 the International Tourism Forum TRAVEL HUB “Commonwealth” would be held in a full-scale format.

A video greeting to the participants of the event was sent by Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Zurab Pololikashvili, who said that the CIS region had a real potential to become a leading tourist destination. The UNWTO highly appreciated the efforts of the CIS parliaments to support the tourism sector in the region and cooperate in order to overcome challenges and create new opportunities.

The event was also attended by representatives of public authorities and business community, scientists, experts and public figures from the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation and other countries.
