Republic of Uzbekistan Celebrates National Flag Day

The National Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan, along with the National Emblem and the National Anthem, is the official state symbol and the symbol of the country’s sovereignty.
The Flag was approved on 18 November 1991 at the eighth session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, two months after the proclamation of the country’s independence.
