Federation Council Commends Developing of Inter-Parliamentary Relations Between Russia and Azerbaijan

Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Iliyas Umakhanov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov.

According to the press service of the Senate, the parties discussed the status and prospects of bilateral cooperation, as well as the key aspects of regional and international agenda.

Iliyas Umakhanov commended the high level of Russian-Azerbaijani cooperation. He suggested that trusting relationships was a key to developing dialogue between the Presidents of the two countries.

Jeyhun Bayramov also noted the high level of relations between the Republics.
