Kazakh MPs Ratified Documents on Outer Space Activities

Today, during the plenary session of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan chaired by Speaker Nurlan Nugmatulin, the MPs ratified documents aimed at the development of cooperation in the field of outer space activities between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation.
The ratified documents include the Agreement between Kazakhstan and Russia on cooperation on launching from the Baikonur launch site of “Soyuz-2”-type carrier rockets and the Protocol on amendments to the Agreement on leasing of the Baikonur site.
