MPs of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan Established Council of Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation

Today, Speaker of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlan Koshanov and Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Mazhilis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nurdinjon Ismoilov, who is in Kazakhstan on an official visit, signed the Agreement on the Establishment of the Council of Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation.
The Council is established in accordance with the agreements between the heads of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The Council is aimed at enhancing the interaction between the parliaments, encouraging further political, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation and strengthening the traditionally friendly relations between the peoples of the two countries.
