Maulen Ashimbayev: Party Interested and Regional Representation Are Balanced in Parliament

Speaker of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbayev in the interview to the channel “Khabar 24” spoke about the need to maintain the bicameral parliament and the relevance of the elections to the Senate. He noted that the existing structure was the most suitable for the development of the political system, high quality of legislation, protection of the state’s interests and taking into account the opinions of all social groups and regions in the law-making process. He stressed that the current system of the Senate formation ensures the balance between the party and regional interests.
